SAFELY REHOMING ANIMALS

Just a reminder that there are resources available to you if you can't afford your pet.  Some private rescue organizations can help provide you with food and the Humane Society will usually be available for low-cost/spay neutering and vaccinations.

If you're thinking of giving your dog away because it's not listening to you or misbehaving, did you know that dogs like humans, dogs go through a rebellious “teenager” phase (around 9 months to 18 months). During this time, they'll often test their owners, seeing what they can get away with. Being firm and consistent with your training will help establish boundaries. Fixing your animal also helps.  So if your dog isn't listening to you, don't lose hope....it's just a teenage stage they're going through.  It will get better.
